Meet Ricky Fishing Expert from Tiddly Inks. He is a downloadable digi stamp. Today I colored this little fellow with my copics. He is Ricky Fishing Expert from tiddly inks. I usually make girly cards but when I came across this little guy I knew I had to have him. He makes me dream of summer and fishing on this cold January day. I can't wait for summer and fishing to begin again. I hope you like what I did with him. They sell a little girl too. She will be my next purchase. I think I will put them together for one of my future cards. Have a happy day.

Wow it has been a long time since I have really done anything with paper. It felt like getting reaquainted with an old friend. What a wonderful feeling.
For my first in a very long time I decided on this  little fellow I colored with copics today and made into a birthday card. He makes me think of a lazy summer afternoon. I picked him up at

It has been a very long time since I colored or made a card. It felt so good. Purchased digi stamp. Hope you like it.

I decided to try something a little different than I usually do. This is a very simple card to make and looks so pretty.  I will do more like this one.

These are the cards I made with the rest of the paper I used for the other projects so I didn't waste the paper. Later I am going to make cards for the accordian holder I posted last week.

tea bag holder

I seen this on pinterest also. I have become very addicted to pinterest. OH MY!!! I can't get enough pinterest. I used pinks and brown for this. I didn't get a very good pic.

card box with a set of 5 matching cards inside

I found this pattern on pinterest. I changed it a little since I didn't have the tool needed for the top. I added my own handmade cards to match as well.

Accordian file card holder

This is my first accordian file holder. I am going to make cards to fill it up and then give it to to someone special as a gift. I have time to figure it out since I still have to make the cards. I think I will make them to co ordinate with the file holder. I found this on pinterest and went to the blog for instructions.
The blog is:
This took me about 30 minutes. It is very easy to do. I had to use a scallped punch because my round broke and I didn't feel like going to town to buy one. lol. well have fun everyone.

Close to My Heart Blocks for my daughter

I have been sitting on these trying to think of something to make with them. My daughter asked me to make her a wall hanging for her house for x-mas which I haven't started yet and then I thought of these little blocks just taking up space unused in my stash. These will co ordinate perfectly with the wall hanging when it is completed.

Christmas in July

I went to a friends Stampin Up work shop yesterday and we made 3 wonderful cards. My photography leaves a little to be desired. I think I will have to learn a little about it when I retire in a few months. lol Here are the other two cards as well.

This is a 6x6 baby card. This is incredibly simple. It only takes a couple minutes to make this one. It is embossed cut to size and sanded on the raised areas. Attach to card add ribbon and flower. Done. This is a wonderful card for a baby shower or new arrival.
This is another wedding card I did this weekend for the shop in town. It is pretty similar to the other one but this time in pink. This is a very simple card to make.
I so love this base card. I have cut many of this card out in assorted colors so I can make these very girly cards. I just love them. As you can see I have placed Tilda on this card. She is done with water colors cut out and placed over the doily I cut with my bug. I then ran ribbon through all of the open loops and tied it into a bow on the side. I then layered a cloth white flower and placed it just below the bow so than it overlapped it a little and put a pearl in the center to finish off the flower. Then I added some shades of purple flowers to the bottom around Tilda. The sentiment at the top says You're Amazing. I really need to figure out how to take better pics that aren't blurry.
This little bundle baby card was very simple. I just embossed the little bundle with the feet and then sanded the raised areas, cut the paper to size so it was smaller than the background card and attached. So cute and even simpler to make.
This is a wedding card I did in soft blues and white. It is all embossed then highlighted.
This has been another busy crafty days off. :)  Here is a sample of the baby shower invites I am making for a friends daughters baby shower. I got the idea on you tube last week. I wish I could remember who I was watching so I could pass it along. I need to learn to take better pics. This is actually embossed on the background with dots. It is so much cuter in person. The elephant is cut on my cutter and the little butterfly is a hand punch. This is very simple to make.

I colored this wedding stamp a long time ago then put it away and forgot about it. I came across it a couple days ago and decided to use it. I used a 6x6 embossed square card for the background and then used papers in shades of browns and cream. The embellishments are also in shades of brown and cream. I colored it with prisma colored pencils and prisma blender pen. I hope you like what you see.

I love this little gem. The photo doesn't do it justice. It is a little to dark. I tried to fix it in photo shop but this was the best I could do. I should have reshot it I guess. Maybe later.  This is such a soft and girly card. it is all soft blues, pinks and white. She is also  colored with prisma color pencils and a prisma blender pen.
This little girl is done with prisma colored pencils. I just love the softness of this card.
I found this stamp a couple days ago when I was looking for something else. I recieved it free with a paper purchase from gina k a couple years ago. I love it so I stamped on white textured cardstock by colorbok that I just purchased at walmart for the first time and wanted to see how it would hold up to water based mediums. I colored it with CTMH stamp pads and a blender pen. The paper held up pretty gook. It will not take a lot of working so if you are going to use it you will need  some experience so you can do it without to many layers so it doesn't start to pill. I used about 4 or 5 layers with a blender pen. I don't think this would hold up under a wet brush for very long. I hope you like it. I usually use water color paper for this type of medium. I also buy the water color paper at walmart and cut it to fit my printer.
I just love this one. I love girley.
Isn't he cute. I colored him with prisma color pencils and blender pen. I hope you like him.
This is a paper piecing. This is a little different for me but I think I will do some more of them. Cricut here I come. lol
This is a pink version. The picture doesn't do it justice. I need to take better pics. lol This doily is from Martha Stewart.
I bought the butterfly on ebay. There were 5 of them in different colors. I cut the card base, doily, and tag on my electronic cutter and made the flower with some punches. I am making a few of this shape card. I just love how femine is is. So many possibilities.

My first 6x6 Tilda

Wow it has been a year since I posted here. That has been a long time. There has been some serious medical issues that are now resolved for the good. :)  I hope to be able to keep up with this better now. My crafting was limited during that time but recently I have been back at it. If all continues to go well I hope to be updating at least weekly. I hope you are all well and that you enjoy what I am doing,
I used a paper pack that came in one of the uk magazines with my Tilda.
I did Tilda with copic and promarkers. I just love the rich reds. I hope you like her.
